Thanks for sharing that Paul, I had given up all hope for any future updates.

But of course the update will brick Roon and it might make cat screeching noises at times. Just bear with us as we direct you to the Radia which includes white gloves to clean up. :money_mouth_face:

Ugh. I need to figure out how to block the update. I moved on from Tidal.

Hi. Wil you also be resolving the issues with Spotify not streaming too in this update?

To be perfectly honest, it was in large part its ability to process MQA and other Hi-Res formats that was a decisive factor in buying the Arcam SA30 in the first place. The fact that Arcam have not anticipated Tidal’s dropping the format and having in place firmware that would allow users to process next tier hi-res files offered by Tidal strikes me a bit slack and an oversight that could well have been avoided. ‘Sometime in the fourth quarter’ does little to reassure me.

I raised this issue already a year ago Tidal connect no longer high res and then switched to Qobuz/Roon which is a fantastic, but rather expensive solution. I returned to the forum now hoping that the Tidal high res issue was solved so that I do not need to pay for Roon, but fourth quarter?, sounds like Spotify high res announcements. I guess I have to pay for Roon one more year, to Harman, who also owns Arcam. Good business for them.
