Purely by chance, I’ve not had mine plugged into my home network for a few months as I wanted to use the network cable (mine are buried for estethic purposes) for something else.
I’ve finished what I need to do and want to plug it into the Arcam again so I can control volume etc. from the App but don’t want it to download recent updates for Tidal (or anything else in the future) as I know that’s caused some problems with Chromecast … in essence I’d like to be able to choose if it updates rather than it doing anything automatically.
Any help appreciated
Disable OTA upgrade on the amp (see page EN-20 in the manual) . Also I have had in the past the update pushed when setting up chromecast as I think google does some checks, so watch out for that.

Cheers for that, I had read through the manual but had no idea it was called OTA so have just switched it off
