There are some more known issues with the SA30 remote control. Did you use the search or browse through the issue category ? There is also an remote control tag .
Please confirm if your issue is similar to one of these:
If 2 commands with a very short time in between are performed then the first command is not executed.
Scenario
Press twice a single button on the SA remote quickly.
Actual result
If 2 commands with a very short time in between are performed then the first command is not executed.
There seems to be a startup time frame in which some remote commands are not executed.
Expected result
Command executed on the remote should be executed immediately.

Prerequisites
HDMI cable is connected between Arcam SA30 and TV.
Scenario
Perform the following steps:
switch on Arcam SA30 version 1.21 is used
go to menu, audio settings, set ‘max volume’-setting to 20
watch some TV (TV is playing through SA30=ok)
press volume increase button on TV remote
Actual result
It requires 5 presses on the TV remote to increase the volume level one level.
Expected result
Every button press on the TV remote should increase the volume level one level.
