In the event of stuttering, do you switch the Avatar module of the CDS50 to the SA30? Or output the analog or digital signal directly from the CDS50 to the SA30? You can try to output the analog audio signal of the CDS50 to the SA30 and set the SA30 to bypass mode to see if there is any improvement.

Sorry for digging this out BUT - (donāt want to jinx it) seems like latest firmware upgrade fixed it. Iām listening for the last few days and it didnāt occur even once. I can crank volume up without risk of getting heart attack 
Just had my first reappearance of the stutter and reset issue since the Jan update. Using the web client to listen to internet radio. That was a good run for a few weeks though!
I have a JBL SA750 (Rebranded SA30) with this issue that is out of warranty. Wondering if I could buy the Avatar module and replace it as it doesnāt seem to be too difficult.
I tried to find and buy one some time ago but no luck finding it, bit of a shameā¦ Hope itās not like itās āreservedā for dealership repairs only or some shit like that
