Recent new issues with SA30

Has anyone else noticed new issues recently with their Arcam SA30? Lately, I’ve been experiencing the following issues:

  • Regularly having to power off/on the amp for HDMI-ARC audio to work?
  • SA30 going out of standby right after being put into standby
  • My TV (Hisense U8G) has been turning itself on randomly (while connected to the SA30)
  • Streaming Tidal Connect, the song stops playing about a minute or two in

So yeah, I’m just curious if anyone else has had similar experiences. Of course, with the HDMI issues, it’s hard to know which device is responsible. I’m using a good quality “Certified Premium” HDMI cable, but I might try another one if it keeps acting up. Thanks, y’all!

Do you experience any of those issues if you disconnect HDMI?

I put the amp in standby this morning, and it turned right back on - twice in a row (TV was off and CEC on/off is disabled on the TV). It seemed to stop when I unplugged the HDMI cable from the SA30. I’ll try using another HDMI cable next.

I don’t think cable will help. Seems like SA30 is not playing well with your TV.
You can check if you have any CEC related settings in the TV and fiddle with that.
I have SA30 connected to LG tv and no problems here.

New cable, same problems. I’ll try running a previous firmware version on the TV and testing the SA30 on another TV.

using a Panasonic TV and tried changing HDMI cables but still the same.
