hi, this is a known issue. Tidal used to use MQA for hi-res which SA30 fully supported. Last year Tidal changed to FLAC for hi-res which Arcam has refused to release software update to enable FLAC hi-res support. I have emailed them many times and they said they are not fixing it. I bought a Wiim streamer instead to connect to my SA30 so that I can get Tidal FLAC hi-res via Tidal Connect and then into my SA30 However, recently on this site a user posted to say that Arcam confirmed to him they are working on support Tidal FLAC hi-res with a software update later this year.
